Very painterly…the way the plant in the foreground is indistinct and blends into the row of burnished orange trees…the way the last row of trees fades into the fog – you do muted so very well.
Thanks for the nice comment, Lynn. Ah, the plant in the foreground…it was an annoyance to me until I thought about the image without it. As you point out it is indistinct but it gives a little needed weight to the foreground, I think.
I can see how initially that plant is something you wouldn’t want there but you turned that problem around and made it an asset. It leads the eye. 🙂

Ah, you found more fog. It did a good job muting these colors, and you, of course, did a good job catching them.
We had some pretty intense fog last week so there will be a few more images coming.
