Thanks, Ken. It can be pretty spectacular, can’t it? My spouse is from Ashtabula county a few miles inland from the lake; they used to get some serious lake effect snow-storms. They seemed bigger and more frequent forty years ago. We live ninety or so miles south of the lake and normally only get the cloudiness, light rain, or light snow.
I live 1 mile from Lake Ontario, so I am very familiar with lake effect. Days like this are full of photographic possibilities. Very nice shot, Mic.
