  1. Beautiful studies, Mic. Who would think such tenderness could be found in a corn husk laying on a bed of gravel? I love the graphic quality of these and the fact that emotional content isn’t sacrificed. Sometimes a graphically strong image has very little emotion but these work beautifully on both levels.

    1. Thank you, Lynn. This material was really striking on my early morning walk. I don’t know how late they picked the night before but the cobs and husks were still bright and colorful and not crushed by traffic yet in the morning. The next morning, after a period of rain, it all looked pretty sad…

      1. Good thing you caught them before then. They could almost take flight, or, they look like they were flying around and just came down for a rest. Balletic. 🙂
