    1. Thank you, Eliza. This is great time of year, isn’t it? The old brown grass now bright green, the leaves appearing brightly in the trees, wildflowers and sunlight…almost perfect!

    1. Thank you, Linda. I’m happy to hear that you like this one.

Haha…my name. The period is optional; I didn’t use it until a few years ago. Because “Mick” is a derogatory name for Irish/Scottish people some people just can’t bring themselves to call me that even though I don’t use the -k at the end. My name is Michael which always seemed much too formal for my personality but I am fine with it now. So the period 1) denotes that it is the abbreviation of Michael and 2) it is just Mic period, no ‘k’. There is more but that explanation is probably more than you wanted to know already. ๐Ÿ™‚ Now that you mention it, it does look weird next to the exclamation point.

    1. Thank you. I did mean to say too, that I honor the sensitivity that people have to the derogatory nature of my name and encourage them to use Michael.

      1. I wonder if you know that one of the abbreviations for microphone is “mic,” pronounced like “mike.” Kind of complicates things, doesn’t it.
