    1. They were looking pretty sad this afternoon and we seem to be in a period of overnight frosts. Likely to be a hastened decline.

  1. oh that feeling Mic…here mine…are just starting to poke out…it’s still fresh here -7 and snow tonight…it’s springtime in the north…hope your tulips stood back up πŸŒ·πŸ€“ sending you joy hedy

    1. Spring is a process, sometimes reverting to cold ways, sometimes getting ahead of itself by getting uncomfortably warm. The tulips are still standing…

      1. Ha ha! My birthday is right around then and one year when we lived in northern NJ it snowed on my birthday. The local paper had a headline and my mother saved it. πŸ™‚ If it happens, let it be light and melt quickly. πŸ™‚

      2. Ha! An unexpected birthday present! Well Happy Birthday when the day arrives…without snow, we hope.

  2. I’m just a bit late to respond. πŸ˜‰ Love the way the only color is in the tulipsβ€”and seeing the progression of the flowers from left to right, with the last one bent over.

    1. πŸ™‚ Comments are always appreciated, Linda. Those tulips were the first thing I noticed after seeing all the snow when we started out on our morning walk…next to the step coming off our porch. It was a phone-camera moment…thanks for your comment.
