    1. There is often a surprising texture and detail in the clouds that is not apparent at first glance. A little processing is enough to show some of it. Thank you for commenting on it.

  1. oh, and one other thing –
    I’m reminded of the 19th and 18th century Dutch landscape paintings I love so much. When I go to the museum and a painting is 2/3 sky and features a couple of cows, I guess Dutch. I’m usually right.

    This reminds me of those landscapes.

    1. Thanks so much for the kind comments, MK. It’s always interesting to get a little insight on how people see and connect with photographs, both my own and those of others. The closest I can come to Dutch, though, is Pennsylvania Dutch, a few generations back…but they weren’t landscape painters. 🙂
