  1. Absolutely haunting. The gauzy atmosphere of this image is just superb. It feels like a scene from a novel to me- a place where a character might stop, seized in an existential captivation as he emerges from the sylvan shadows. The framing silhouettes of stark leafed branches really balances the image divinely, to me, adding depth, life and and even a sadness in their shadowed beauty, as they loom, almost hesitant before the dead stolid forms punching through the haze beyond. What a stark contrast between life and death and misty uncertainty. I just love marsh-lands and swamps… I ramble. Stupendous photograph, indeed. What a moment! Cheers,
